| un. Yuffie is the Princess of Wutai, a once proud nation which has slowly turned into a tourist attraction under her father’s rule, after Wutai’s defeat at the hands of Midgar. From a young age Yuffie has been opposed to the change and struggled to make her father see the error of the transformation. Unable to bring her father around, Yuffie began running away, stealing materia from travellers. Yuffie joined AVALANCHE following a small battle with them, after she stole their materia, but once again ran off with their supplies during a visit in Wutai. She continued to trick them until they saved her from Don Corneo; afterwards she remained with AVALANCHE to defeat Sephiroth. She and Vincent help in evacuating the citizens and Shin-Ra personnel in Midgar before Meteor hits. Three years later, after being forced into joining the World Regenesis Organization, Yuffie is in charge of the espionage and intelligence gathering. After finding Vincent in the Shinra mansion, she and Vincent go into DeepGround in attempt to kill Weiss but are stopped by Nero, who sucked Yuffie into Darkness and Vincent goes to save her- since Nero's darkness does not affect him. She and other AVALANCHE members aided Vincent in Omega Weapon's destruction. |

Yuffie also assisted in the final battle against the Bahumut SIN with Cloud and the original AVALANCHE members before watching Cloud’s second defeat of Sephiroth, offering materia support, and the curing of the Geostigma. One year later, Yuffie is working with Reeve for the World Regenesis Organisation; Yuffie is in charge of espionage and intelligence gathering. It is her who takes Vincent back to WRO Headquarters after rescuing him from Rosso in the Shinra mansion where Tsviet was going to kill him. While still suffering from her motion sickness, Yuffie leads the troops into the Battle of Midgar from the Shera and into the ShinRa building to shut down the generator before joining Vincent into Deepground to battle Weiss. Unfortunately they are stopped by Nero, who traps Yuffie in Darkness, unaffected by this; Vincent comes to her rescue, but has to let Nero escape. |

| trois. Playful and somewhat childish, Yuffie is not above playing tricks on people. Boastful but well meaning, she is loyal at heart; although it does take her a good long while to get to the stage where she will call you friend –Yuffie has a somewhat selfish side, choosing herself over companions several times before truly calling them friend and sticking by them. Once she forms her connections, Yuffie is invested in other people’s happiness, with a small twist of trickery. She uses underhanded tactics to get Cloud to take a day off and it’s implied she pesters Vincent to keep up with him. Battle ready and gunho, she is always ready jump in and defend the world - seems to like being a hero a little too much. She also has terrible motion sickness; boat, airship, train, parachute, chocobo. Yuffie will get travel sick on it. Tends to get into sticky situations because of her tendency to act first and think later. |
